ER8 Collets - Accuracy AA (≤ 0.008)

ER8 collets with class AA accuracy are professional tools used in CNC machines for precise mounting of cutting tools such as end mills, drills and reamers. Their main feature is a very low level of runout (up to 0.008 mm), which ensures high machining accuracy and minimizes the risk of tool damage.

Properties and application:

Bushings intended for tools with cylindrical/cylindrical shank.

Used in tool holders for ER8 collets.

Diameter range:

from fi1 to fi6! (we have non-standard sizes on request).

Material:

manganese steel 65.

Made in Class AA,

accuracy 0.008 mm.

Size and class marking on the front of the sleeve.

Cages compatible with ER nuts.

ER8, ER11, ER16, ER20, ER25, ER32, ER40 and sets in all sizes. In addition, we have

ERG sleeves for taps.

1. Installation  ER sleeves:

Insert the sleeve at an angle into the nut.

Hook the sleeve onto the eccentric or cylindrical boss of the nut.

Push the sleeve into the nut.

Twist the nut onto the socket to allow the tool to be held securely.

2. Removal of  ER bushings:

Unscrew the sleeve nut and make sure the tool has been removed from the sleeve.

Tilt the sleeve in the nut to move it slightly.

Push the bushing to the side - pressing until it begins to come out of the retaining ring in the nut.

Twist the nut to facilitate removal of the sleeve until it comes out completely.
