Modular drill insert with replaceable tip for deep holes | GrotXD

1. Production technology:

  • Material: Sintered carbide
  • Coating: TiSiN – intended for processing stainless steel, cast iron, tool steel, alloy steel and other metals.
  • Possibility of processing aluminum using cooling and an insert with a sharp cutting edge.

2. Geometry and performance:

  • Controlled chip breaking – optimized geometry facilitates chip evacuation.
  • Reduced cutting resistance – lower tool load torque, improved drilling efficiency.
  • Precise machining – ensures stability and operational safety.

3. Construction and mounting:

  • Mounting hole: screw mounting.

  • Interchangeable inserts – the ability to quickly replace the tip without having to dismantle the entire drill.
