are solid carbide inserts (VHM) intended for folding disc cutters for cutting off. They are mechanically mounted in the cutter socket and enable quick blade replacement.

Range of applications

GFN 2.0J / GFN 3.0J

Tiles intended for:

structural steel,

carbon and low-alloy steels,

materials with a hardness of up to approx.

30 HRC

.

They are suitable for standard parting and grooving operations.

Materials difficult to process

For processing:

stainless steels (e.g. 304, 316),

heat-resistant steel,

materials that are difficult to machine,

steel with increased hardness,

ISCAR GSFN series inserts are recommended

, which ensure higher durability and more stable operation in demanding machining conditions.

In such applications

standard GFN inserts may not provide optimal service life
