Product code: F4CF-19841
Product description
Modular vise with separate fixed and movable sections, designed for clamping workpieces on milling machines, machining centres and surface grinders. The variant identifies the vise size and the selected module: I, fixed, or II, movable.
Sales unit: one selected module. Modules I and II are selected separately in the product selector.
Applications
The split design is used for clamping larger workpieces. The fixed and movable sections form a clamping arrangement whose positioning is selected to suit the workpiece.
- milling machines,
- machining centres,
- surface grinders.
Construction and technical specifications
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Family | GT, precision modular split vise |
| Material | 20CrMnTi alloy steel |
| Treatment | Carburizing, hardening and grinding |
| Hardness | approximately 62 HRC |
| Accuracy | 0,005 mm |
| Base height deviation | ±0,01 mm |
Adjustment of the movable section allows the clamping arrangement to be adapted to the workpiece.

Modules and variant designations
| Designation | Vise section | How to select |
|---|---|---|
| Module I | Fixed | Selected separately in the variant selector |
| Module II | Movable | Selected separately in the variant selector |
Example GT - 150 - H50 means a jaw width of 150 mm and a jaw height of 50 mm. The suffix module I or module II identifies which vise section is being selected.
Illustrative drawings
The hole and slot arrangement in the drawings is based on GT150×200. In the top view, module II is shown with the movable jaw removed to expose the body. The designations LI and LII refer to the body lengths of the fixed and movable modules, respectively.
Variant dimensions
GT vise overall dimensions, values in millimetres.
| Size | Jaw width [mm] | Base width [mm] | Jaw height [mm] | Base height [mm] |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GT100 · H30 | 100 | 75 | 30 | 35 |
| GT125 · H40 | 125 | 95 | 40 | 40 |
| GT150 · H50 | 150 | 125 | 50 | 50 |
| GT175 · H60 | 175 | 145 | 60 | 58 |
| GT200 · H65 | 200 | 170 | 65 | 70 |
| GT300 · H80 | 300 | 270 | 80 | 78 |
Body lengths of the separate modules, values in millimetres.
| Size | Module I, fixed LI [mm] | Module II, movable LII [mm] |
|---|---|---|
| GT100 · H30 | not measured | not measured |
| GT125 · H40 | not measured | not measured |
| GT150 · H50 (GT150×200) | approximately 186 | approximately 234 |
| GT175 · H60 | not measured | not measured |
| GT200 · H65 | not measured | not measured |
| GT300 · H80 | not measured | not measured |
GT150×200 lengths are approximate and were measured manually. For the other sizes, “not measured” means that their module lengths have not yet been added. The values 186 and 234 mm apply only to GT150×200.
Positioning on the machine table
Positioning keys locate the vise in the T-slot of the milling machine table. Their use is not recommended when setting several vises in line.
If several vises need to be aligned using positioning keys without dial-indicator alignment, an additional option is required to enable this arrangement. The vises must be ordered together with that option. Additional vises purchased later may not have an identical position relative to the T-slot.
Requirements for using positioning keys must be agreed before purchase. This applies especially when setting several vises in line.

Selection and information before purchase
Selection includes the GT size, jaw height and module number. For GT150×200, the table also gives the approximate length of each section. Selecting module I means the fixed section; selecting module II means the movable section.
To purchase both sections, select each module separately. The module designation in the selector refers to one section of the vise.
If a size not shown in the selector or an additional positioning option is required, the selection can be agreed individually before purchase.
